Result #13: Last year I successfully celebrated another success.

#13 Watch my final viewing Southland Tales with all of you.

Date: 1-13-2014

Due Date: 2-11-2014

Resolution: With less than a month to go until my year long relationship comes to an end I would like to figure out some way to finish this project off with a bang.

Being that I spent most of my time alone with this movie only to share my findings with the internet I was thinking that maybe I would set a time and a date Sunday February 9th at 6:00 in the pm where I would fire up the theatrical release of Southland Tales for one last time while sitting at my computer keeping an eye on the Twitter to watch this movie with anyone who virtually wants to play along. Notice I avoided the words Live Tweet. I don't plan on making a running commentary being that I've already said almost everything I have to say about the movie. I'm more interested in hearing what you have to say as you watch along.

How you can help: Play along. I've heard many people say that my reviews really made them want to check out this movie, or that they really need to check out this movie so that they can read my reviews in a way that makes sense. Well, this is your chance.

Also if you decide to buy the movie buy it through this link so that I can earn a couple bucks.

Update #1:

Date: 1-17-2014

There has been talk of a group of friends getting together to watch the movie. You're not invited to that viewing but you are still invited to watch at the same time and follow the fun on Twitter.

Update #2:

Date: 2-10-2014

Last night I watched the movie Southland Tales with a group of old friends as well as a few friends out there in the digital word. This was 52nd time watching the movie that concluded the viewing portion of my year long Area 52 reviews.

I made this resolution as an excuse to celebrate the closure of this challenge. I'll be writing more about the specific of the viewing in my final Southland Tales review, but for now I will close this resolution out as a success!!!

Thanks Todd and Jess for hosting the event. Thanks Ben, Alex and Aaron for joining us. Thanks Spike for live tweeting your experience and thanks to anyone else who played along at home.

Click here if you would like to read my reviews. I will be posting my final review tomorrow 2-11-2014.

Matt Bunker

I started out with a goal of becoming a paid screenwriter. I had no interest in any other aspect of filmmaking. I received and scholarship to The Vancouver Film School's Writing for Film and Television program where I graduated in 2005. I fell in love with being on set during my first non-school produced short, . I loved being around all the creative people, seeing people having fun while working. The whole liking your job was a new world to me, so I decided to give it a shot. I volunteered for any project I could, doing what ever was needed. The set was my Film School this time. While working as a PA on a feature I was informed that the DP wanted the three tallest PAs to help out in the grip and electric department. That is when I found the department that felt like the best fit for me while I continued to write.
