Result #132: Thought I planted the seeds the Bonsai failed to grow.

#132: I'm going to grow a Bonsai Tree.

Date: 5-12-2014

Due Date: 5-12-2015

Resolution: Anyone who has seen The Karate Kid knows that Bonsai sculpting is a surefire way to achieve inner peace... at least I think it was The Karate Kid... it doesn't matter. I heard somewhere that growing and sculpting Bonsai trees is beneficial to one's mental health.

Since the major goal of 365 Days of Resolution is to find inner peace in this mental head of mine, I will give it a shot and grow a Bonsai Tree from seed and sculpt it to my liking using tiny scissors.

Update: #1: The Conclusion.

Date: 5-12-2015

I planted a few rows of Bonsai seed way back when I failed at indoor gardening. Though several of the seeds made it to the sprouting phase before dying, I never saw any action from the Bonsai batch.

I intend to try again as soon as I can afford to buy gardening supplies again.

Which hopefully will be pretty soon.

As always, I'll keep you posted.

I started out with a goal of becoming a paid screenwriter. I had no interest in any other aspect of filmmaking. I received and scholarship to The Vancouver Film School's Writing for Film and Television program where I graduated in 2005. I fell in love with being on set during my first non-school produced short, . I loved being around all the creative people, seeing people having fun while working. The whole liking your job was a new world to me, so I decided to give it a shot. I volunteered for any project I could, doing what ever was needed. The set was my Film School this time. While working as a PA on a feature I was informed that the DP wanted the three tallest PAs to help out in the grip and electric department. That is when I found the department that felt like the best fit for me while I continued to write.
