For those of you playing along at home, 487, a short film that I wrote is going to be shot within the next couple weeks. We’ve got a few days left to raise the funds needed to make this a reality.

The story is about a young boy thrown into a race leading him to spend the rest of his life looking for the finish line, unsure why, but knowing that it's worth it.

We have a very talented cast and crew that I am confident will make 487 a beautiful piece of cinema.

Please follow our progress on Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/487film

Also please visit our film page to read the script, watch the anamatic, and/or donate to help make this a reality. We will be raffling off many prizes along with the gifts listed for each level of donation. http://www.487film.com/

Below are a few items that you can win!!! (***Note: the paintings are still works in progress.

Thanks for all your support!!!

I started out with a goal of becoming a paid screenwriter. I had no interest in any other aspect of filmmaking. I received and scholarship to The Vancouver Film School's Writing for Film and Television program where I graduated in 2005. I fell in love with being on set during my first non-school produced short, . I loved being around all the creative people, seeing people having fun while working. The whole liking your job was a new world to me, so I decided to give it a shot. I volunteered for any project I could, doing what ever was needed. The set was my Film School this time. While working as a PA on a feature I was informed that the DP wanted the three tallest PAs to help out in the grip and electric department. That is when I found the department that felt like the best fit for me while I continued to write.
