You know how I was complaining yesterday that my YouTube was acting up after they implemented their new branding to promote their Rewind video? You know how I also said that I checked their Twitter pages only to find zero information about any known issues which led me to think the issue was on my end? And finally, you know how I said that this ruined the first part of my day as I ran all of my anti-virus and maintenance software in hopes to resolve the issue only to have nothing work?

Well, it turns out that I must have been right about it being on their end because last night when I returned to my room after my evening break the page was working just fine. This really annoys me because it would have been nice for this major company to provide a heads up on the issue because I don't mind these types of issues as long as I know that they are being worked on instead of feeling that I am out of my mind while trying to fix issues on my end that aren't even there.

I use the site SquareSpace to create this blog and they are amazing at sharing even the slightest of issues the moment that they become aware of them. It doesn't happen often but whenever I have noticed anything weird I'd simply go to their Twitter page and there has always been a post noting that the issue has either been reported, identified, or in the process of being fixed and have yet to be disappointed by their efforts.

Even when I've contacted their support team with general questions about how to use their site building features that I can't figure out, they've been extremely helpful in suggesting the best solutions. Meanwhile, with YouTube, when you click on the help button and then click "Need More Help" you simply get a note that reads, "We could not locate contact options," which makes the link completely pointless.

Oh well, now that everything's back to normal it's time to get back to work in order to get ahead of my workload in order to take a few days off for the holiday. Yesterday, I was able to backlog one extra SNL review and hopefully by the time the weekend is over I should have a couple more backup reviews and be ready to start draft three of my first novel that I plan to share on New Year's Day.

As always, I'll be sure to keep you posted on my progress when I check in with tomorrow's update. Until then, it's now time to say good day and good luck to you and all of your projects.

Talk to you soon.

Sincerely,

The Wicker Breaker
