Though it was not in my plans, today might be the start to another one of my lost weekends due to the fact that box wine was on sale for $9.99 when I dropped by the store last night to get some supplies. Not only that but over the past couple days, I've managed to squirrel away a couple extra SNL reviews to where I can burn one from my backlog and still be ahead by a day.

Though my new plan is to do some day drinking since I never celebrated the completion of my latest novel, ideally I'd like to still get a thing or two done when I wake in the evening and no longer have booze to distract me but more often than not my day drinking efforts turn into days where absolutely nothing gets done.

Luckily, it's the weekend so I can justify slacking if it does manage to get to that point but I would really like to read the rough draft of my novel when I wake in order to start writing draft three this coming Monday. This should be manageable either way because when I wake tonight after goofing off, I should be hungover a bit but in good enough shape to be able to read and take the notes I need in order to start the rewrite process.

While I am partially concerned that this hungover aspect may affect my ability to focus, my proofreading process only requires enough energy to note areas that need to be changed with the real work coming into play when I actually sit down to write.

Who knows, I may also end up getting a burst of energy to where I can still manage to fit in yet another SNL review but at this point, this is more of a backup plan. As always, I'll check in tomorrow with an update on what I end up getting into. Until then, it's now time to say good day and good luck to you and all of your projects.

Talk to you soon.

Sincerely,

The Wicker Breaker
