Operation Achieve Anything: Day One-Hundred-Seventy-Four, Dateline 6-23-2018

Kindness can become its own motive. We are made kind by being kind.
— Eric Hoffer

Good morning crickets. Welcome to day number one-hundred-seventy-four of Operation Achieve Anything. Not only am I excited by the fact that it’s Saturday and I plan to spend most of my day marathon watching whatever on my brand new Netflix account, but my back is feeling ten times better ever since I started to add a PM pain relief pill into the mix of my sleepy time regiment. At least I hope that’s the case because the constant pain as really been dragging me down.

Other than that, not much new is going on so I’ll just jump right into the assignments that I’m here to report on. For yesterday’s assignment, I was supposed to continue to explore my motives for the second day in a row, only this time I was supposed to keep in mind how I will be judged if I reach my goals while making the decisions I needed to get there.

Though many people would probably be disappointed in how I handled my meltdown that got me to leave Seattle, burning bridges to make it easier for me to go, I don’t think there’d be a negative thing to say about my efforts to achieve my goals. I think this because I’ve never really stabbed anyone in the back or put down others’ work in an effort to spotlight my own work. I’ve just spent my entire adult life in dingy space trying to hone my skills.

Who knows, maybe once I get to a point where I actually attempt to promote a finished product, I’ll start getting shadier in order to maximize my shine, but I really doubt it because if I were to get to that point, I’d rather be admired than be a target.

Today’s assignment is both a continuation of this new motives-themed segment of the Achieve Anything… book with a task that I’ve already done multiple times before. Once again, I’m supposed to go through my day focused on the positive motivating forces to get me through the day. It also suggests I practice random acts of kindness for what has to be the fifth or sixth time.

Oh well, it is what it is and I will delve deeper into today’s task even further when I check in with tomorrow’s update. Until then, it’s now time for me to wrap this thing up as usual by saying, good day and good luck to you and all of your projects.

Talk to you soon.

Sincerely,

The Wicker Breaker
