Operation Achieve Anything: Day Two-Hundred-Thirteen, Dateline 8-1-2018

Property is not the sacred right. When a rich man becomes poor it is misfortune, it is not a moral evil. When a poor man becomes destitute, it is a moral evil, teeming with consequences and injurious to society and morality.
— Lord Acton

Good morning crickets. Welcome to day number two-hundred-thirteen of Operation Achieve Anything. I got a good night’s sleep last night and am no longer burnt out to the point where I feel like another bout of depression is setting in. I am still a bit low energy from some of the thoughts that came up over the past couple of days while I was down, but the negative mood, in general, seems to be passing.

Yesterday, the Achieve Anything… book switched from a fun focus on fantasy and now is onto a bummer of a theme that was partially to blame for my recent mood. This new focus is morals which is an area of existence that depressing to me because of how immoral the morality makers are. As someone who has no affiliation to any organization, I feel like an outsiders witnessing how efforts to control using morals as a tool.

Meanwhile, the people who set the rules are morally bankrupt. This really sucks because it pushes people with really good intentions into a bunch of judgemental pricks. The actual assignment from the book was how far I’m willing to go to fight for my own morals. Though I used to be a little more vocal about my views, the current state of the world has me feeling like a beaten down man, so, at this point, I’ve completely given up on trying to win over anyone and just live the best life that I can.

I may share posts like this on the internet from time to time, but as far as the real world goes, I’m done. This might be because I’m a nihilist at heart who’s always felt that we are just wasting our only time alive by spinning our wheels aimlessly while continuing on with old caveman games. We consider ourselves so advance, which we are materially, but organically, we’re just a collective monkey wearing a watch. Sure, our fancy items make us look good and give us pride, but when push comes to shove, it’s the technology that’s advanced and not our little minds or else we’d be way past all of this bullshit by now.

As I said, I used to be more vocal about this views, but I kept getting dismissed as a dreamer when I would suggest that there’s a better way for us to work together. Unfortunately, most of the people with plans for more positive ways are the passive who get pushed around until they get tired of trying to push back, which is where I am at right now. So to answer the question of how far I will go, at this time, I’ve just given up. Well, at least as far as what I expect from others. As for me, I will stick by my own set of morals no matter what.

This actually leads into today’s assignment where I’m supposed to share my moral obligation to the world. I’m sure you’ll be able to guess what I have to say, but there is one twist to my plans for involvement that you’ll have to wait for tomorrow’s post to learn the details of said twist. Until then, it’s now time for me to sign off as usual by saying, good day and good luck to you and all of your projects.

Talk to you soon.

Sincerely,

The Wicker Breaker
