The Resolution: Today at work, while unpacking Christmas merchandise I walked into the stock room to see a cart full of these Crayola Light Designers. I was so intrigued that I didn't hear my coworker’s directions as to where they're supposed to go. He was a couple of sentences into the instructions when we both realized I wasn't paying attention at all.

I don't know what I'm going to do with it but I know that the animation feature of this toy will come into play.

Result #297: I Bought The Crayola Thingamajig… I Could Slap Something Together And Call This Last-Minute Success… But I Still Want To Do This One Right… Someday…

Update #1: The Conclusion…

I bought this Crayola Digital Thingamajig toward the end of my retail career. Between the employee discount and a holiday half-off sale, it cost me next to nothing. Well… the devices itself did, the batteries to run it cost a near fortune.

I took it home and tried it out. There are lots of setting to work through so I think this thing has to potential to be pretty fun. Unfortunately, at this point last year I had decided to move and by the time I bought this product, I packed it away pretty quickly.

Since moving home it has remained packed away along with many other half-finished projects that I hope to be motivated enough to revisit in the near future. Right now I'm still struggling to figure out what I'm doing with my life to have enough energy to goof around with these frivolous tasks. 

I'm finally beginning to feel like I'm on the right track. Living at home has allowed me the opportunity to figure out more ways to make a living on my own terms. All I need to do is land one more online job similar to the one I already have and I will be making close to the same amount that I was making at my last full-time job, only I will be working less than half the hours while setting my own schedule.

If I can pull this off I feel I can start to play again and when that happens I will be sure to play with this Crayola Thingamajig and share what I come up with.
