Resolution #298: Get A Reader From Greenland To Visit The Wicker Breaker!!!

Date: 10-25-2014

Due Date: 10-25-2015

The Resolution: Way back in Resolution #18 I vowed to "turn the world blue with the reach of TheWickerBreaker." This means getting at least one visit to the site from each country in the world to change the color of my statistics map from grey to blue.

At the time I made this resolution I'd already had at least one reader from Canada, The United States, and Mexico; three of the four large chunks of the Northwest Hemisphere. I've been obsessed with getting a reader from Greenland ever since.

I'm hoping this stunt of shameless self-promotion will work to get one new reader from one specific location but if you're reading this and you know someone from any of the other "grey countries," please send them a link to your favorite post to fill in some of the other gaps.

Thanks in advance!!!

Result #298: It's Been A Full Year… And I’ve Failed To Get A Single View From Greenland… (There Are People There… Right???)

Update #1: The Conclusion…

Date: 10-25-2015

I'm a little surprised that anyone checks out this site, so I'm not all that surprised that I've yet to get a reader from Greenland.

I don't know if it's the fact that I post daily giving search engines a lot of material to delve out in their results but I get readers from around the world on a regular basis. I'm not talking huge numbers but since I started this site close to three years ago I've had at least one view from almost every country in the Northern Hemisphere except for Greenland.

I've tried hashtagging Greenland, I've tried @ing companies from Greenland in my Twitter post and have yet to get a single peek. Where others might get mad at a country for such blatant avoidance, I'm becoming a bigger fan.

I now fantasize about visiting Greenland just to view a WickerBreaker page to finally fill in that giant white space in my views map. After all, it is the filling in of the views map that drives my obsession more than getting anyone to read my work.

Oh well, I'll let you know if I ever do end up getting a view from Greenland especially if it ends up that I have to go there to do it myself.
