Resolution #324: Obtain A Certificate In Dream Interpretation...

Due Date: 11-20-2015

The Resolution: First off, just like most people on this planet, I have little interest in hearing other people’s dreams let alone try to interpret them. Personally… I feel dream interpretation is up to oneself to find the meaning.

That's said, I'm also not all that interested in interpreting my own dreams. For the most part… they all seem to stem from my frustrations with failure in my personal life.

What I am interested in is learning the symbolism and imagery of dreams in an attempt to add layers to my writing. Being that my writing genre of choice has evolved into dark psychological surrealism, I figure this may be a nice tool to add to my skill set.

Result #324: I Successfully Finished A Dream Interpretation Course… Now I'm Just Waiting For My Certificate Of Completion As Proof!!!

Update #1: The Conclusion…

Date: 11-20-2015

I literally just finished taking my last class in my Dream Interpretation course. I'm not sure how much I actually learned from this class but a certificate of completion is on its way. Now when I say I'm not sure how much I actually learned, this has no bearing on the class itself, it's more about dream interpretation in general.

Yeah… there are dictionaries for dream symbols that can help but, as I've learned, a big part of dream interpretation requires input from the dreamer. A snake can have many deep interpretations according to the books but it also could mean that the dreamer just saw a movie with a snake in it so the literal animal is currently on their mind.

I'm not sure if I'm going to get much out of this course as far as dream interpretation goes but the concepts that are taught transition nicely with creating symbolism and story ideas in my writing so I am happy that I took the class and look forward to having yet another certificate to hang on the wall.
