#336: Get this drunk guy home.
Due Date: 12-2-2015
The Resolution: Last night I was on the internet looking for an old homerun derby game that I used to like. I felt the urge to practice for Resolution #334.
One of the games that showed up was HomeRun Albanifest 2004. The object of the game is to move the mouse from side to side to keep a drunk character balanced as he attempts to walk home.
I had to check it out.
This game is frustrating yet fun.
I played it three times and never lasted more than a few seconds. This made me really want to see how the game advance once you get past the starting point.
The one way I know to get myself to commit to something like this is to make it a resolution.
So here we are today.
I'll let you know if I ever make it home.
Update #1: The Conclusion.
I haven't had much luck with the video game based resolutions that I set for this experiment. My failures continue as I couldn't get this digital drunk to his destination. Based on the bit of research I did, I managed to get him pretty far at 78 meters. I was also unable to find if there was an actual end to the game.
Either way I will take this as a fail that I will revisit at some point in the future and when I do, I will let you know how far I get.
