Arg, my keyboard broke the other night and now I'm stuck using the crappy keyboard that came with my computer. I've been using an ergonomic split keyboard for at least a decade if not longer. I find that the split keyboard forces me to use proper fingering when I type. There also seems to be an angle to the keys in order to fit the ergonomic design that allows for just enough space between keys to avoid as many double key presses that I get while typing on a standard design.

Though the first half hour of my morning was a little rough, I'm amazed how well I feel right now. Last night I drank a big bottle of whiskey in order to fulfill my Thanksgiving tradition and was fully expecting to pay for it today. My hangovers have been getting worse and worse as I'm getting older and older and drinking less and less but this morning I felt perfectly fine.

Last night I finished lesson two of three for the current section of my Android app class. Where I was hoping to finish the lessons by the end of the weekend so I can start my next assignment on Monday, if I stick to this pace, I could be could be done with this section by the end of the day, allowing me to either take it easy over the next couple days or get an early start, which is more likely the outcome.

I am loving my current set of courses. Though I have built apps in the past that use information from other sites to populate content within the app, this was during the time where I was taking "follow the leader" courses where I simply typed the same code along with the instructor as he attempted to explain what he was doing without going much into the whys.

Ugh, today is one of those weird days where I woke up with a stomach that felt like it was coming out of a bender when I haven't had a drop to drink since election night. I actually had to throw up upon waking which is something that hasn't happened without being alcohol induced for years. Unlike with drinking, however, I feel perfectly fine now that whatever is out of my system.

I've spent the past couple days excited to move on to my next set of classes in my Android app building program. First, I had to wait for my previous assignment to be graded before moving on then, I gave in to the weekend where I did nothing but waste time, which was a much needed reenergizing break from the daily grind of sitting at this stupid computer.

Alright, this is the week I've been waiting for. No more election worries, back on a solid sleep schedule, I recently finished an assignment that I was struggling to be inspired by and I'm well rested from a weekend of doing nothing but settling into the couch as I marathon watched two seasons of Survivor.

It's Sunday and I'm excited about the start of a new week. My anxieties over the election have passed now that a decision has been made. Though the outcome wasn't ideal, there was no was no comforting choice in my opinion so I do feel at ease now that we are no longer stuck in a limbo of who will be our monster and now we can start to work together to deal with our common enemy. I personally feel that had it gone the other way, the wedge in the left would have grown leaving the door open to god only knows what.

Last night I turned in my latest Android assignment and as promised, here is my update. If you've been following my progress at all you may know that this was supposed to be a travel app, which as a shut-in, I had a hard time feeling inspired. Even when I was less introverted, I was never all that interested in travel or touristy type things.

It's finally over, and no, I don't mean the election this time. Last night I finally finished my latest Android assignment. I'm a bit disappointed in myself because it took way longer than it should have. The problem was that I just never felt inspired by this assignment the way I usually have been up to this point.

Alright, this is going to be a quick one. The election is now officially out of my mind, though I wouldn't say I'm over the moon about the results, I'm ready to move on with my life. Last night I finally finished getting my latest Android app assignment to do everything that it needs to do and now it's just a matter of cleaning the code to fulfill the coding style portion of the assignment.

Ah, I'm so happy this election is finally over. That's not to say that I'm happy with the results. I'm a third party so I was fully prepared to be disappointed no matter what the outcome ended up being. So, since I wasn't going to be happy either way, I can say that I'm fine with how things turned out.

It's a new week, everyone is either back home, back to work, or back to their regular routine so now it's time for me to get back to work as well. It was nice to pretty much take a week off, only working the day job and slopping out a daily post before spending the rest of the day with the family. So, I pretty much took a week off from school, but more importantly I took some time off from being alone.
