Result #174: I successfully found and covered all the LED's while living in my last apartment, now they are either still covered or not an issue due to the layout of my new space.

#174: Solve the light pollution issue that's happening within my apartment.

Date: 6-23-2014

Due Date: 6-23-2015

Resolution: Every night when I lay down to go to sleep a can't help but notice the laser light show being put on by all the electronics I own. Every direction I look there seems to be some device that's plugged in, powered off and flashing some crazy pattern of light to remind me of my stupid purchase.

It's not horrible but then again I've been living this way for years. We all have but growing used to something annoying to the point where it's tolerable is not ideal, especially when there's a simple solution.

Starting tonight, I'm going to buy a roll of electrical tape and track down every annoying LED in my possession. I've also found tinted tape on the internet that I will buy to dim down any lighted display that I still need to read.

I will not be happy until I can get my place to be pitch black!

Update #1: The Conclusion.

Date: 6-23-2015

Some of these result titles are getting awfully long and many contain all of the information worth sharing.

This is the case here.

I successfully found and covered all the LED's while living in my last apartment, now they are either still covered or not an issue due to the layout of my new space.

If anything my new place is too dark but I'm okay with that.

I started out with a goal of becoming a paid screenwriter. I had no interest in any other aspect of filmmaking. I received and scholarship to The Vancouver Film School's Writing for Film and Television program where I graduated in 2005. I fell in love with being on set during my first non-school produced short, . I loved being around all the creative people, seeing people having fun while working. The whole liking your job was a new world to me, so I decided to give it a shot. I volunteered for any project I could, doing what ever was needed. The set was my Film School this time. While working as a PA on a feature I was informed that the DP wanted the three tallest PAs to help out in the grip and electric department. That is when I found the department that felt like the best fit for me while I continued to write.
