Resolution #226: Enjoy A Monthly Box Of Random Healthy Snacks From NatureBox.com...

Date: 8-14-2014

Due Date: 8-14-2015

Resolution: NatureBox.com is a sponsor of many of my favorite podcasts. I believe I first heard about them via My Brother, My Brother, and Me.

Well, after years of badgering, I've finally decided to give in and give NatureBox a shot.

Being that I'm an adventurous eater I'm going to order the monthly random snack pack and report my findings.

If you are interested in playing along order your package through NatureBox.com/mybrother and you'll get some kind of discount.

Result #226: Though I Did Subscribe to NatureBox For A Few Months… I Failed All The Other Aspects Of This Challenge… So… I’ll Have To Try Again… Soon… Hopefully…. I Was A Fan Of Those Few Boxes!!!

Update #1: Nature Box #1

Date: 9-16-2014

When I signed up for Nature Box they offered me the first month for free. This sounded much better than the half-off deal I went in for so I picked my snacks and waited.

The box came pretty quick. It seemed a little small for $20 worth of snacks. Then I opened it to see these tiny bags. None of the items were on the list that I created.

Upon further research, it turns out this was a free sample box and not a free first month. I was excited to see that these were not the full-sized bags because these things were delicious.

The Coconut Cashews were my favorite, followed by the Dried Pineapple Pings, then the Tomato Flavored Almonds, the Cinnamon Roasted Corn Kernels came in fourth, and last but not least, only because there has to be a last The Sunflower Sesame Seeded Crackers.

Even though these were all great, I could justify paying $20 buck a month if this was the full-sized bags.

Luckily they're sample-sized!!!

I can't wait for the next delivery.

Update #2: The Conclusion…

Date: 8-14-2015

I ordered my first Nature Box soon after setting this resolution. The size of the samples made me nervous but I was very satisfied with the full-sized servings once my official subscription began.

I meant to write a review of each healthy treat as they came in but I must have been going through a rough phase of my life at the time because I kept putting it off. I know I must have been bummed because there is nothing I like more than reporting progress.

After that, I think it became a combined issue of a backlog of updates and time passing to where I forgot what I had to say about each snack. At least the specific details because I know I love 100% of the products that I've tried.

I kept the subscription going for at least six months and then I decided to move, where I still haven't been able to figure out my finances. I recently landed another writing gig and am in the selection process for an ongoing part-time job. As soon as I get a steady income going, the first thing I'm going to do is reactivate my Nature Box account.

I can't wait to make this a legitimate success…
