Resolution: When I first thought of doing this "Word of the Day" resolution, I was going to buy one of those daily desk calendars.

Then I realized it's August.

I decided instead to turn to the internet.

I figured, why waste the money on an old or new calendar that I'd only be using for the daily word and not its true intent?

When I saw that Dictionary.com had its own word of the day, I was sold. Dictionary.com is one of my favorite online reference sources, actually, it's their Thesaurus but that's still theirs.

For the next year, I'll be checking in with Dictionary.com to get the word of the day to then sneak somewhere into the blog. I'll note the word in the Daily Breaker but it will be your job to find it in the blog.

Result #228: I Successfully Learned… And Used… The Word Of The Day From Dictionary.com… For An Entire Year!!!

I don't have much to say other than what I've announced in the headline. I successfully used Dictionary.com's Word of the Day to learn a new word a day and use said word in the blog.
