Alight, we are now at day number seventeen of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge and I am proud to announce that I am officially an entire day ahead of my workload once again. As far as my NaNoWriMo writing goes, I've been at two days ahead of schedule consistently since missing the one day that led me to focus on building a backlog, but now I'm back to being ahead of my SNL reviews as well.

As I said the first time I got ahead of my work, It is so nice to start my day knowing that all I have to do is write my Daily Breaker post and then I'm technically done for the day if I don't count my tomorrow tasks that I plan to complete in order to stay ahead of the game.

Unlike earlier this week, when I both completed and used the first safety net review for the first time in a few months, I don't feel as deep of a need for a break so I don't see myself squandering my lead so quickly. 

That said, I do currently feel pretty burnt out from doubling down on my workload but since I already took the above-mentioned break, this time all that I have to do is the bare minimum for today and then continue on in the business as usual way of working that I've grown to become very accustomed to.

If anything, I may double down on my efforts again once my energy levels return with the expressed interest of taking another day off but as far as my current backlog goes I really hope that I don't give into temptations. As much as I would just love to slack off, at this point, I'm more interested in experiencing the lowered stress that comes with my deadlines always being an entire day away.

As I said, today I'm going to stick to the bare minimum of what I need to do while fitting in a nap and early night in an effort to get nice and refreshed for my efforts moving ahead.
