Welcome to day number eighty-seven of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where I’m off to a bit of a late start from continuing to celebrate Take Your Weekend Back Day… which I made up as part of Make Up Your Own Holiday Day… a couple of days ago…

To take my weekend back… I didn’t do a single thing having to do with SEO… while drinking a box of wine… I know… I’m not supposed to drink that’s to a day early one where I had to give up my favorite vice… but… it’s been close to three months since my last binge… and as they say on Friends… “I was on a break…” that was Friends right???

Either way… I’m still on a break… so I’m going to wrap this introduction up right here… and with that… let’s move on to see how I handled the theme from yesterday…

According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Celebrate Exchange Day… which I didn’t know what to do with at first… but then… as I was weaving a basket while getting drunk… I realized that I learned how to make these baskets through my elementary school’s awkward attempt to show us how culture was exchanged between the Pilgrims and the Native Americans…

As hard as it may be to think of a school sanctioning this type of event nowadays… making a bunch of kids dress as stereotypical cliches… I did learn how to weave baskets and make small rugs with a loom… which I may have to try again soon… so… I’m not sure if I was part of a cultural exchange or if we were all just appropriating knowledge that I shouldn’t have???

I don’t know... either way… I took what I learned and used my experience to celebrate Celebrate Exchange Day…

And with that… I’m going to consider the celebration of yesterday to be done… now it’s time to see what the book has in store for today…

The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Decorating Egg Shells Day… which is weird… because I thought Easter was next week??? It must be some sort of calendar thing since this marketing book is from 2012 after all… either way… I’ll have to hard boil a couple of eggs to paint up later this evening… I can’t wait to see what I manage to come up with for tomorrow’s post…
