One Creative Introvert’s Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…

Welcome to day number eighty-eight of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… and it’s time to get back to work on the SEO task that I didn’t even look at over the weekend… thanks to the Take Back Your Weekend Day theme that I was able to create for Make Up Your Own Holiday Day… but… it’s Monday now… so this evening I’ll be returning to the tedious task of adding metadata to this website…

Keep in mind… as a pre-Covid shut-in… time off from the tedious task just meant that I sat at my computer and played games instead of work… and I play boring ass games… so… I’m excited to take a break from what I usually use as procrastination tools and get back to the games that I create for myself… while attempting to make this website more profitable…

Games like… how many SEO entries can I adjust in one hour… and then I’ll switch up the order of operations and play again… until I find the most efficient order to… swap out any images that need to be optimized… add alt text to said images… shorten the URL… and add a meta title and a meta description… for 1500 pages…

Maybe now that I’ve taken this little break… I’ll have fresh eyes for the next order of operations change… but… I think I already have the most efficient order…

Either way… the break helped and now it’s time to move on… and with that… let’s move on to see how I handled the theme from yesterday…

According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Decorating Egg Shells Day… probably because it was Easter the year the book was published… either way… I decided to make the egg self-portrait below as a way to celebrate… I had a second egg that I tried to be more creative with… but after messing it up beyond being photo-worthy… it became breakfast…

And with that… I’m going to consider the celebration of yesterday to be done… now it’s time to see what the book has in store for today…

The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Smoke And Mirrors Day… and I have the marijuana for the smoke… now I just need to track down some cocaine for the mirrors… not really… as a bipolar insomniac… I’ve never been a fan of stimulants… but I do like to joke sometimes… so… there may be no weed and coke… but… I think I already know what I’ll be writing about tomorrow… I look forward to checking in to share when I do end up getting into…
