Welcome to day number 14 of this year's NaNoWriMo challenge where thanks to putting in a little extra work I will be hitting the halfway mark a day ahead of the recommended schedule. In fact, I came super close to hitting this halfway point last night while working on my ramblings.

If only I didn't buy some booze to celebrate my efforts then I might have been sober enough to stick it out I write the five hundred extra words to get there. I'm fine with the fact that I didn't hit this next benchmark because I still put in the work and by the end of today, not only will I get to the midpoint, I will also be at the point where I am officially two days ahead of schedule.

This is going to be a little rough though because as of this exact moment, I am still sort of drunk and tempted to have a couple of drinks in order to get back to sleep to delay my start to the day. This will actually work perfectly because, since I am also a day ahead of my SNL reviews, all that I have to do is share the links and my day is technically done.

Don't worry, I'm not going to rest on my laurels and take the day off, I just want to start a little later and that's what I aim to do. As always, I'll keep you posted as to what I get into when I check in again tomorrow, so, until then, I hope you have a good day.
