Last night ended up being a very interesting night. First off, I finally got back to working on my novel rewrite after taking a few days off in order to focus on some paid work that came up. That turned out to be the least interesting part of my otherwise eventful day.

Alright, it still wasn't all that eventful but living San Diego, I was one of the many who were caught off guard by the launching of the latest SpaceX rocket which was very exciting during the fifteen or so many minutes that it was a complete mystery as to what this crazy thing in the sky actually was.

As someone who listens to podcasts about the paranormal when all of my comedy shows run out, I've many videos of phenomena just like this after turning to YouTube to get a visual idea of what was being talked about in the story. For the most part, these mysteries never last all that long so I knew it was only a matter of time before my fantasies of witnessing some major space event would be gone.

That said, I let the fantasy play out and watch with awe as we all speculated how things were going to play out as the thing disappeared off into the distance creating an uneventful end to the otherwise exciting sky show. Not only was it interesting to see what was going on up in the air, it was also nice to see how the people on the ground bonded together to try to figure it out.

I think that this was the first time since moving home three-years ago that I have talked to anyone in my neighborhood other than giving and receiving a passing, "Hi," while venturing out to get groceries. It was nice to feel a slight sense of community even though our attention was still mainly divided by the thing in the sky and capturing, sharing, and investigating what was going on with our phones and then all went inside when it was over.

All of this excitement most had gotten my brain going into overdrive mode because my night was then finished with a pretty awesome dream. Don't worry, I'm not going to go too deep into what went down in true fantasy land since I know other's dreams are the least interesting thing in the world, but it involved me landing in the most interesting living space filled with some of the most interesting things that I had ever seen.

As the new resident, I was given the choice to keep it all or figure out how to get rid of it as if the original owner either didn't know the true value of the collection of stuff or he was old enough to just not care. Either way, this option allowed me to keep what I want to create a perfect home and then sell the rest to be able to afford to never have to work again, allowing me to be able to focus 100% on my writing.

Between the brief moment that I felt we were not alone in this universe and the above mentioned sleepy time surprise, I woke up in a more optimistic mood than I've felt in a really long time. With that, it's now time to move on to my next task in order to complete this novel draft in hopes that I can make the not having to do any more non-writing work more than just a dream.

As always, I will check in tomorrow with an update on what I end up getting into. Until then, it's now that time to say good day and good luck to you and all of your projects.

Talk to you soon.
