The Resolution: This is another one where the title says it all. By this time next year… I will learn Morse Code. I have no idea what I'm going to do with this knowledge but I'm sure I'll figure something out.

Result #316: I can now officially add Morse Code to the languages I failed to learn this year.

Update #1: The Conclusion…

I don't know why I thought I would be able to learn not only Morse Code but Sign Language and Dutch all in one year. This may be a true sign that I'm delusionally optimistic when I'm manic. I'm currently quite grounded in reality and have no idea how I thought I would be able to learn three languages in such a short amount of time but I promise you none of these resolutions were throw away tasks when I set them. I genuinely thought I could complete them all on time.

Even in this grounded reality I still think that I could have successfully completed 90% of these goals if I did more pre-planning or at least had the financial resources to be able to afford to throw out any idea on a whim.

As I've pointed out in the past, this resolution experiment is evolving to be a bucket list challenge, and even with the extended time, I have my doubts that Morse Code will make the success pile.

Oh well, I'll let you know if I ever pull it off.
