365 Days Of Marketing And Me: Day One-Hundred-One 4/11/2021
/One Creative Introvert’s Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…
Welcome to day number one-hundred-one of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… and I’m excited to see that some of the organic traffic has returned… to the point where I’ve averaged over 100 visitors a day for over a week… now if only I can get my revenue to return as well…
Back before I lost most of this site’s traffic I was bringing in about a buck per 100 visits… meaning that I was making around two to three dollars a day… or sixty to one hundred dollars a month… sure that may not have been much… but… it was better than the fifteen bucks a month that I’ve been making ever since I put myself in a hole… right before I started this marketing challenge…
I’m hoping that… now that the traffic has returned… I’ll get back to being in a better mood moving forward… but I’m still not sure if my drop in energy has anything to do with my new meds… but even if that’s the case… I feel like I’m getting used to the mental changes… and bet that my energy levels will stabilize as well… as soon as this headspace that I’m now nurturing becomes my new normal…
Either way… this concludes my introduction to the day… now let’s move on to see how I handled the theme from yesterday…
According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Golfers Day… which takes me back to the first party house where I used to live… which was the only time in my life that I played golf on the regular… keeping in mind that I’m talking par 3 pitch and putt and not a course that required you to hit the ball all that far…
We had a Sunday dinner… hosted by a different roommate each week… which was followed by a game of poker… then… on Monday… anyone who didn’t have to work… and wasn’t too hungover… would meet up at Denny’s to eat a few meals before heading out to the pitch and putt…
I worked evening at the time… so I was there every week… since I was also young enough to still play through even the worst headache… and even got bonus points if I had to go throw up in the bushes… I’ll always have fond memories of those days… and am happy to celebrate Golfers Day by drumming up these old memories that I’ll probably explore even more as I try to settle in and go to bed…
And with that… I’m going to consider today’s theme taken care of… now let’s see what the book has in store for today…
The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Siblings Day… and luckily… my older sister swung by today… which is why this post is so late… I’m happy about the coincidence… because it was nice to actually spend time with her and my youngest sister in order to celebrate the day… that and… I now have something to write about that’s doesn’t just technically fulfill the theme… when I check in tomorrow with my next post to share…
But for now… to wrap it all up… below are my statistics for the last seven days… now complete with speed stats…
