365 Days Of Marketing And Me: Day One-Hundred-Eleven 4/21/2021
/One Creative Introvert’s Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…
Welcome to day number one-hundred-eleven of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where I’m learning that I need to stop pointing out when I feel like I’m getting my old traffic back because I swear… every time that I think that this site is recovering from a behind-the-scenes mess up… the very next day… the numbers seem to drop…
Whether or not these insights are true… I need to get back to treating this site like there are no statistics involved at all… just like I did a few years ago… when I stopped following the numbers as part of 365 Days Of Resolution… not only do I need to stop counting on this site’s traffic as evidence of acceptance… last time… my writing improved when I wrote as if I had no audience at all… because I let go of the idea that I was constantly being judged…
From here on out… I will try to stop pointing out when I feel uninspired and/or rusty and just focus on the task at hand…
We’ll see how I do… but until then… I’m going to wrap up my rambling introduction to the day… now let’s move on to see how I handled the theme from yesterday…
According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Look-Alike Day… and to celebrate… this time I’m going back to Resolution #220… which is where I grew out my hair to be able to give myself a comb-over to look like Bill Murray from the movie Kingpin…
With that… I’m going to consider today’s theme taken care of… now let’s see what the book has in store for today…
The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Volunteer Recognition Day… which might be a difficult day to celebrate as a shut-in… but… I have done a lot of volunteering in the past… so I do have a few things to say on the subject… but… of course… you’ll have to wait for tomorrow’s post to read what I manage to come up with…
But for now… to wrap it all up… below are my statistics for the last seven days… now complete with speed stats…
