Resolution #146: Finally Learn To Ride My Unicycle!!!

Resolution: A few years ago I was drinking and watching the documentary Man On Wire. I'm not fully sure what inspired me but the next morning I woke up from a blackout with a confirmation from Amazon.com informing me that I had ordered a unicycle. Rather than do the right thing and cancel the order I figured there had to have been a master plan so I now own a unicycle.

This has to have been close to three years ago and I have yet to even pump up the tire. I did use it as a model to create the above painting. This will be the year my drunken purchase becomes more than just a conversation piece.

Result #146: Due to Its Awkward Size And Shape… The Unicycle Didn't Make The Move… But… For Some Reason… I Miss The Thing… And Plan To Buy A New One To Learn To Ride!!!

 

Update #1: The Conclusion…

I owned the unicycle for over five years and never figured out how to ride it. I had hopes that this would be the year that I figured it out.  Then I decided to move and this became another belonging that was too big and awkward to ship so I gave it away. 

When I decided to give my unicycle away I had hopes that I would be making enough money after the move to be able to afford a new one but unfortunately, that is not the case.

I'll figure out something someday and when that happens I will buy a new unicycle, learn to ride it, and share my progress with you.
