Resolution #19: Revisit The Infinite Flu Facebook Page...

Date:1-19-2014

Due Date: 1-19-2015

Resolution: Two years ago I produced this short film of a script that I wrote. I cost me the price of a bag of bagels, a variety of cream cheeses, a try of cookies, Capri Sun, and wrap party pizza that only a couple of us were free to partake of.

There's an ongoing theme of me being a broke artist so I was only able to afford to enter this into a couple of festivals that were free to enter being that it was shot in Seattle.

For whatever reason… it was not accepted.

Since then I entered the short to Triggerstreet.com, Kevin Spacey's site that allows you to post your work for review. Free is the only thing that I could afford.

Since I entered the script I have yet to receive a negative review, except for a couple from some real space cadets and I'm not saying that just because they gave it a negative review.

It seemed that every couple of weeks The Infinite Flu would be the featured short of the day and eventually it became the Spotlight Short of the Month January 2013!!!

I started a Facebook page and updated it on a regular basis with the reviews that were coming in. Then as always… that self-doubt kicked in and because I didn't feel that I was getting the proper response for posting these updates I just gave up.

Even at the time… I felt bad for those who were interested in the updates, but don't feel the need to interact, but I fell into a fuck it mentality and just moved on to the next project.

My resolution is to get update all the reviews to the Facebook Fan Page and keep it up to date for a year no matter what anyone thinks!!!

Result #19: Good Timing For This Success Because Trigger Street Labs Is going Away At The End Of The Month.

Update #1: The Conclusion…

Date: 1-19-2015

Well, I've successfully updated every review of my short film The Infinite Flu that I've received on Trigger Street Labs since posting the video. I just read that Trigger Street Labs is closing down.

That means all those reviews are going to disappear from their site. Luckily, because of this resolution, these reviews will still be available here.

As always… thanks to everyone who helped out on the film!
