Resolution #259: Get To The Top Of The Leaderboard On ListChallenges.com...
/Date: 9-16-2014
Due Date: 9-16-2015
The Resolution: I never heard of ListChallenges.com until today, when I was searching the internet to figure out today's resolution when I saw that you can, "Earn points for your life experiences."
It's kind of your average list site where you check off things, like movies you've seen, music that you listen to, books you've read...
The cool part is this site keeps a running tally of your scores in order to be ranked on a leaderboard!!!
I don't know what I like more, lists or leaderboards?
This site gives you the best of both worlds and I resolve to get to the top of the leaderboard by this time next year by honestly completing as many lists as I can.
Result #259: I Failed To Make It To The #1 Spot… But… I Did Manage To Get My Rank Up To #540 Out Of #226,644!!!
Update #1: The Conclusion…
Date: 9-16-2015
When I first set out to be number one on ListChallenges.com I was pretty excited because I flew up to be in the top 1,000 out of the 226,644 members within the first day. I guess there are a lot of people that sign up, complete one or two lists, then leave.
I spent the next several months slowly climbing up to become #---.
I probably could have gotten a lot higher in the ranks if I did at least one list a day. Instead, I would randomly choose a day to fill out lists until I was fed up with the site. A lot of these lists are surprisingly long and very repetitive.
I don't know how the people in the top #100 have such huge scores but I am going to keep at this until someday I become #1 without cheating.
Hopefully, this site stays online long enough for me to pull this off.
