This has been such a frustrating day.

First I woke up to a silent TV, not a big deal but I had a play list of videos streaming from YouTube so the silence meant there was something wrong with our internet. This happens often and usually works it self out pretty quickly so I decided to roll over and go back to sleep.

I then woke up later and it was still frozen.

The first thing that crossed my mind was that video I was uploading yesterday that took an estimated 10 hours to upload probably froze in the middle and I'd have to start over. This got me to burst out of bed to check.

I found that the video's upload was a success which led to some relief but the internet was still down so I went in to reset the router. I unplugged the router and plugged it back in but there was still a blinking orange light, so I went back to my room to wait it out.

I then went to my phone which was almost dead so I switched to my Kindle Fire which wasn't working because the WiFi was down so I went back to my dying phone to find an email that the video I uploaded was taken down to to Copyright issues, so all the waiting I did yesterday was for nothing. It sucks because the video is nothing more than a bunch of clips from a TV show. I'm not bootlegging full content or trying to make a profit, I'm just trying to share a funny idea.

I went to find a different source to upload the video to only to find that the file was too big for everything. I don't edit videos much so compression was the last thing on my mind. Part of me wonders if the file being so big is what triggered YouTube to be extra aggressive about the content because YouTube is made up of nothing but videos like the one I'm trying to post.

Oh well, I chalk this annoyance up to lesson learned. If I would have compressed the video in the first place whether or not the video was block by YouTube, it wouldn't have wasted the entire day waiting for this upload to take place.

I then opened up Adobe Premiere only to have that freeze up on me. This eventually led the entire computer to freeze to the point where I had to do a hard reboot which I haven't done on intention for years.

I was ready to through everything through the wall and it wasn't helping that I had Fox News playing in the background because the internet was still down and for some sadistic reason this my go to channel when nothing else is on. The channel normally infuriates me in an entertaining way but today it was too much.

Did I mention all of this happened before I usually even get out of bed?

This was no way to start the day, especially after having such an annoying week in general.

Oh well, things seem to be working now. Hopefully I can release all the stress and tension and move on with the rest of the day without my head exploding.

And with that, here's the dumb video I was simply trying to share...

Enjoy.

(ps. I ended up having to create a page for this because I couldn't get it to upload anywhere because it was either too big or too small. Creating the page and uploading the video on my own site took about 20 minutes vs the hours spent trying to get to to work any other way... lesson learned.)

Talk to you tomorrow.
