Time for another garden update!!!

It's been a couple weeks since I posted my last garden update so here we go. This being my first full-blown garden, I find myself getting amazed every morning when I step out to see the progress.

It's interesting how in the early days when the seeds are just starting to sprout the daily progress can seem so subtle at times that it often leaves me wondering how we have the time alone to grow enough resources to keep the entire world feed on a daily basis.

It's been several months since I started this successful batch of seeds and nature has yet to produce anything edible. There might be some root vegetables that might be taking off but due to a labeling accident I have no idea what is what and I'm afraid of damaging the above ground plants if I were to dig around.

I'm not all that worried that things won't grow since I do see the beginning of what will one day be food nor am I disappointed by the time that it takes, This experience just allows me to get a better mental grasp how much goes into keeping our species alive because even if every piece in this planter were to grow without issues this half year's worth of effort could be scarfed down in less than a month.

That said, I can't wait to dig in and finally get to taste a meal that 100% from my own hands. I now fear that I'm going to mess this up and either pick things too early like I did with a small batch of radishes or too late like an earlier grown bell pepper that never made it to the plate because it rotted on the stem as I waited for it to get huge like the bells I see in the store.

All of the above said, whether or not I eat anything in any of these images, I'm just extremely happy to be able to get a batch of plants this big to live since my history with potted plants is atrocious.

Alright, now that the pictures are taken and my words have been shared it's time to feed these greens. As always, I'll check in tomorrow to share whatever nonsense I get up to.

Talk to you then,

The Wicker Breaker
