Dateline 7-6-2017

Well, yesterday ended up being a fun waste of a day while being wasted. As I said yesterday, I was gifted a box of wine to celebrate the fact that I just happened to be born in a location that is ruled by one group of people who fought to be free from another group of people from another land and then went on to kill most of yet another group of people who lived where I now live first.

I partook of several glasses of the boozy grape juice with some coke which is apparently big amongst the Spanish which means it probably wasn't the best beverage to go to if I were interested in sticking to the "Go America" theme of the day, but either way it did its job and I ended up going to bed super early. 

When I awoke yesterday, it was far too early in the AM to get started as it was my former bed time before I fell into this new sleep cycle where I wake up around 7:30 in the AM. Since it wasn't so out of place to drink at this very early AM hour, I figured I'd polish of the glass that I left at my desk to see if it would send me back off to my dreams.

Nope.

Instead of inducing sleep this intended round-two night cap ended up giving me a second wind to where I didn't end up falling back asleep until after I finished my blogging obligations for the day. After that, I was down for the count but when I woke up, I got to work on Phase Three of my SNL prep working task which is going to take me forever to complete and is pretty much my plan for the day after I apply to a couple of jobs.
