Operation Achieve Anything: Day One-Hundred-Seventy-One, Dateline 6-20-2018
/Good morning crickets. Welcome to day number one-hundred-seventy-one of Operation Achieve Anything. Today’s going to be another quick one. That said, unlike in the past where I either claimed I was in a rush only to ramble on for a page and a half or I admitted to the defeat of feeling uninspired, this post is going to be quick due to the fact that yesterday’s assignment was an artistic one and I’ve already spent a ton of time fulling the actual assignment and now I need to move on.
The assignment in question was that the book wanted me to draw a picture of a tree that represented me. Though the book wanted me to draw with paper and pencil, I decided to go with creating a Photoshopped image to practice my graphic design skills, since I need more practice with Photoshop right now that I need practice creating images by hand.
With that, here’s what I managed to come up with...
I’m sure a Photoshop expert will find many flaws, considering it’s not exactly what I saw in my head, but it’s a well enough representation of want I was going for that I’m going to consider it done. Since it is a visual medium, I’ll leave it up to you to attempt to interpret what I’m trying to say with this tree version of me.
Now let’s move on for the task for today. Today’s lesson focused on how hope and fear are the biggest motivators in life and so it wants me to make two lists, one for hopes and one for fears and jot down my connection to both. Once I’m done, I’m then supposed to refine this list by crossing off fear-based motivators that I can move on from while adding more items to my list of hope-based motivation.
This should be a fun one because as a bipolar person, I’m heavily influenced by both. That said, you’ll have to wait for tomorrow’s update to see what I manage to come up with. Until then, it’s time for wrap this thing up as usual by saying, good day and good luck to you and all of your project.
Talk to you soon.
Sincerely,
The Wicker Breaker
