365 Days Of Marketing And Me: Day Eighty-One 3/22/2021
/One Creative Introvert’s Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…
Welcome to day number eighty-one of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… where yesterday I continued on with more of the same… fixing mistakes from blog entries that I made over a half of a decade ago… just for the sake of improving some SEO score… since nobody even reads this old content anymore… not that they read it all that much when it was new…
It’s not even like I’m trying to draw people to these posts at this time… I’m just trying to improve The Wicker Breaker’s behind-the-scenes framework by mainly focusing on metadata that I’ll probably change during the proofreading/editing phase… where I plan to rework every page throughout this site to fix all of the typos and grammar issues… while adding keywords strategies to every post… changes that will actually show in the content and not changes for the SEO bots…
As I’ve said before… though I get bored during these changes made to improve the results of a site crawl… I do understand why these changes are important… and since I know that I get bored from this type of work… I’m trying to get it all out of the way in order to only focus on the fun stuff moving forward… of course… adding the boring stuff as needed… to avoid having to ever need to make SEO changes en masse moving forward…
But… with that said… even though I understand the importance of my current work phase… I still can’t wait for it to be over… if not just to have more inspired marketing portions of these daily posts that seem to suffer when I’m not entertained…
Oh well… it is what it is… and today’s marketing “it” happens to be this… so let’s move on to see how I handled the task from yesterday…
According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Fragrance Day… and to honor the day while actually fitting in a little marketing into this challenge… I’m going to promote an old challenge where I smelled like the band KISS for a full year… or at least their fragrance… which had a surprisingly sweet smell… when I was expecting leather and sweat…
Though quick and to the point… I’m going to consider the celebration of yesterday’s theme to be done… now it’s time to see what the book has in store for today…
The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Common Courtesy Day… which is a day that I wish more people would celebrate… but it’s also a theme that I need to work on for myself… I think my efforts to make these changes may be why I get so frustrated by others who are unaware of their lack of common courtesy so they have no idea that they even need to change… the same way that you hate seeing in others what you hate about yourself… but… I’ll dig more into this phenomena when I check in with tomorrow’s post…
For now… to wrap it all up… below are my statistics for the last seven days… now complete with speed stats…
