One Creative Introvert’s Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…

Welcome to day number eighty-six of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… and we’re now almost four months into this project… six months if you count the behind-the-scenes work that I put in pre-challenge… and I’m starting to feel burnt out… well… maybe not starting because I think I griped about burnout a few time throughout this challenge…

Unfortunately… I never even opened the 365 Day Of Marketing book that I bought to be the blueprint for this project… because I love a surprise… so… I didn’t realize I was just going to be given a daily theme and not a marketing assignment… this is why I struggle every day when it comes to coming up with a marketing effort to start my day… and why I’ve been resorting to only focusing on my efforts with SEO…

The new problem is that… I’m running out of SEO problems to solve… and the many issues that remain are out of my pay-grade to fix… so I’m stuck reporting on a boring SEO marketing task that I started a few weeks ago… that should take me over a month to complete… so… I have “something” I can write about in a pinch… but it’s grown to be such a boring task that there’s nothing more worth reporting on…

To deal with the uninspired days that come with the repetitive efforts… this opening segment may not always be about my marketing efforts moving forward… of course… I’ll my marketing efforts will be the top priority when planning my day… but I’m no longer going to lock myself into only one way to start these daily update… in an effort to keep my sanity… and not have to take two years off from all writing again…

And with that… I’m going to consider that today’s introduction is done … now let’s move on to see how I handled the theme from yesterday…

According to the 365 Days Of Marketing book… yesterday was Make Up Your Own Holiday Day… and the holiday that I made is Take Back Your Weekend Day… and to celebrate… I did absolutely nothing to do with this blog after I finished yesterday’s post… and I plan to continue to celebrate the day by doing the same thing today and tomorrow… keeping in mind that I’ll still be writing my posts… it’s just the behind-the-scenes work that I need a break from…

And with that… I’m going to consider the celebration of yesterday to be done… now it’s time to see what the book has in store for today…

The 365 Days Of Marketing book says that today is Celebrate Exchange Day… and I have no idea what exchange I have to celebrate… but as always… I’ll try to figure something out by the time that I check in with tomorrow’s post… but for now… I’m going to rush to wrap this one up… so that I can get started doing nothing… to celebrate today’s theme!!!
