365 Days Of Marketing And Me: Day Nine - 1/9/2021

One Creative Introverts Effort To Take On The Extroverted Marketing World…

Welcome to day number nine of 365 Days Of Marketing And Me… when I started this challenge… I was hoping to let the enthusiasm… brought on by the mental and physical benefits from my sinus surgery… be the driving force of this challenge… so… I would like to apologize for the energy from the past couple of posts… but… the “I’m Not Going To Take It Anymore Day” challenge from the other day… got me all fired up about the technical issues that I’m dealing with behind the scenes…

The behind the scenes issues don’t affect what you the reader sees… other than the scattered thought in the content… caused by constantly thinking about what the solution might be… instead of staying in the moment until I get done with my posts… I think I finally figured out the solution… but it’s another case where I won’t know for two or three days…

Either way… I don’t plan to keep harping on what’s going wrong… and focus instead on what’s going right with my current projects… at least when I’m writing a post…

The other day… my cousin informed me that his wife has a new job where she works for a therapeutic app called Sanvello … being a fan of TalkSpace… but not having the funds to keep it up… I started to talk to her about the features… where I learned that there was more gamification and assignments to keep you coming back for more than just the text-based therapy…

It sounded really cool… so I was excited when I was informed that she’s high enough in the company to hook me up with an account to try it out… it’s the weekend… so I have to wait for Monday to hear from the onboarding specialist… so for now… all that I’ve got are the non-interactive services… unless you count the group chat therapy sessions that are available…

I’ll be sure to keep you updated on how things go… and… moving forward… I will use the app to get me in the right mood before I sit down to work on the posts for this blog… hopefully… that will keep me from drumming up a rant… which is easier to do when I feel rushed…

With that… it time for me to dig into today’s assignment…

According to the 365 Days Of Marketing Book…it’s Play God Day/Recreate The World Day… unfortunately… I’m on a break from all of the “God” thinking while I’m still on a fiction-writing hiatus… as a writer… you get full control over the world of your story… add to the mix my surreal/anti-story structure approach… and I don’t even have the rules of the experts to follow… which can be fun while writing…

Sometimes.. when unchecked… can lead to delusions of grandeur… which is also fun… but alienating at best… at worst I could see myself becoming a monster… I think that might be why I self-sabotage… afraid of what I’d become if I had real money and power… that’s why my target for success is only five bucks a day… to keep me humble why I grow…

Now I play God by growing plants from seeds that I eventually want to learn to train using bonsai technics to force them into the shape that I want and not what nature wants them to do… I don’t really need to control the shape of the plants… but creating my own food is the God-like power that I’m taking on so I can “recreate my world” to be a healthier one…

Below are a few pictures of the recreated world that I’m starting!!!

With That… Here Are The Numbers For The Past Seven Days!!!

(note… I’m just a fan of Ezoic with an affiliate link… they are not an official sponsor…)

Above are a few pieces of growing equipment that I own… I like the tent because it allows me to have an area for plants that are small… medium… and large… so that when set up correctly… I’ll have a rotation to where there will always be a few plants that are ready to go… I just bought the PVC hydroponic pipe system… I’m sure that I’ll keep you posted as soon as the seeds are germinated enough to fully set it up… and finally… I love the little bucket system for practice… because it’s so cheap and simple to set up… it also shows you what’s needed to make similar systems on your own…
