Resolution #237: Add Cheese To My List Of Thing That I've Learned To Make From Scratch!!!

Resolution: I think cheese is my favorite thing on the planet. I wouldn't say that I was a connoisseur. I've only been to one cheese tasting event and have never tried fresh cheese.

I could go on a tour of a dairy or track down an establishment that sells fresh cheese to get samples, but this is a year of learning and that's what I'm going to do.

I'm going to learn to make cheese.

Result #237: Damn It... Yet Another Food That I Failed To Learn To Make From Scratch... And… I Was Really Looking Forward To Having Access To Homemade Cheese… :(

Here's my excuse for the day.

It's pretty much the same excuse as every other failure on this site but with a tiny twist. The twist being, I was going to take a cheese-making class with a friend while I was living in Seattle...

The rest of the excuse plays out as usual. I decided to move back to San Diego and since the move, I've been too broke to afford anything.

My redemption is also the same.

Now that I have a low but steady income I will soon be able to afford to buy one of these cheese making kits and as always, I will get back to you when I do.
