The Resolution: I don't remember who it was but someone posted the video of a guy making Beatles pancakes. Now I must try this. The concept seems pretty simple but the technique seems like it's going to take a lot of practice. 

Finally… I'll have something worth making homemade butter for!!!

Result #271: Yep, As Cheap As They Would Be To Create… These Fancy Pancakes Are Going To Have To Wait… Until I Can Wrangle A Consistent Payday…

Update #1: The Conclusion…

If you are following my progress then you already know that I've been struggling with this experiment since I moved from Seattle back home to San Diego. You also may already know that I'm struggling to make ends meet as a freelance writer and have just landed a low pay work-from-home part-time job that I'm still waiting for my first paycheck. You may also know that I hope to avoid future affordable financial failures with the income from this part-time job.

If you don't follow my progress then I failed to may fancy pancakes because I'm too poor and a bit defeated from all my recent failures but I'm going to continue to report on my progress come hell or high water.

This week all of my failures have been due to the fact that I couldn't afford about ten dollars worth of supplies. Individually I'm frustrated but collectively I'm aware that these ten-dollar tasks really add up.

With today's failure… I am learning that I need to report each failure as an individual entity, keeping my findings entertaining to both the die-hard fan and the stranger who stumbles upon this experiment through some random internet search. Each page should work both on its own and as a piece that makes the overall experiment a whole.

At this point, I don't think anyone follows my progress with any regularity so I sometimes feel I have to explain the same thing over and over again for any new readers but at the same time, I feel like I'm becoming a broken record to anyone who is or may someday read this site with any regularity.

I'm not there yet but my new goal is to find a balance to draw in new readers while keeping the through story fresh for those that are following along. That and make these magic pancakes as soon as I get my check.
