Resolution #95: Play Washington State's Power Ball Every Week For A Year...

Resolution: Some people claim that it's foolish to play the lottery. That qualifies this experiment for my April Fools series of resolutions!
Washington State's Power Ball draws its numbers every Wednesday and Saturday at two dollars a ticket. Starting this Wednesday… and then continuing on for an entire year… I'll enter every one of the Power Ball drawings. If I happen to be out of the state during any of these drawings I will enter the local equivalent lotto drawing where ever I am.
To make it interesting I'm going to ask for your help in picking my numbers. I need 5 numbers between 1 and 59 and 1 bonus number between 1 and 35 for a grand total of 6 numbers.
I will take 1 number from the first 6 people that choose to play along and use this combination as the numbers I will play for each drawing. If you are chosen and I win the jackpot I will share some of my winnings with you (TBD.)

It turns out I'm no good at the call to action. When I made this resolution I thought it would be fun to get the readers involved. When only one person responded with a number, rather than feel the need to post a reminder to build interest, I felt the urge to give up.
I still needed the numbers though because I have no plan to give up on any of the resolutions, so I solicited a few friends and family members and got what I need.
Tonight was the first drawing. We didn't win:(

Apparently, it's not me.
Though I didn't play the Washington State Powerball for an entire year, I did play the entire time that I lived in Washington after setting this resolution.
I did note that I would continue to play in other states if I happened to be out of town on vacation. This clause was meant to cover a short term trip home to California to visit the family.
I had no intention of moving when I set this resolution.
When I landed in California to relocate for good, playing the lottery just didn't feel the same. While in Washington I had a routine. When I got back to California my whole life was and still is a little out of whack.
Messing around with the lottery was the last thing on my mind especially after playing for nine months straight without missing a single drawing or winning a single dime.
If you look below at the ongoing tally I wouldn't even have won if all of the numbers drawn were cumulative. My Powerball number never came up once out of 84 draws.
Since I did play the Washington State Powerball every opportunity I had, I'm going to consider this resolution to be a success.
