/I recently bought a water cooler because the water here in San Diego is so crappy that I can't drink it straight out of the tap unlike I did up in Seattle. Since buying said cooler I've been drinking way more water and have pretty much cut soda and flavored sparkling "water" out of my diet. Between that and my new diet I've been losing a lot of the weight that I've put on over the past three years.
I've also decided to take up drinking coffee. I've heard there were benefits to drinking black coffee. Since I cut down on my energy drink intake and was naturally waking up earlier than usual; I decided to give it a shot.
I don't really like coffee, I've tried to get into it in the past but added so much sugar and cream it was probably just as bad as the soda I was trying to avoid. I also like to chug my drinks in general and hot beverages hamper my chugging abilities so my attempts to get into the coffee lifestyle have always been short lived.
This run with coffee is going pretty good though. I drink one big cup first thing in the morning and it really does seem to help me start the day.
Yesterday I may have gone too far though. It was about 3:00 in the PM and I decided to makea second pot. I finished a couple more classes and wanted extra awareness to work on my website so I threw caution to the wind and had my second big cup of coffee for the day.
Now it's hard to tell what led me to stay up as late as I did as I tend to lose track of time when I'm coding. That said, I was up until 7:30 in the AM this morning working on my new website. I just kept finding one less tweak to make before going to bed and I'm sure the coffee didn't help.
I was smart though and decided to get my day job done before I final gave in to the night, or early morning in this case, and now I'm awake, drinking coffee and completely unsure about what my sleep schedule will be like this week.
Good thing I'm able to set my own schedule!!!
Talk to you tomorrow.
