Here we go again.

I spent most of the first half of yesterday being very productive with my Android app assignment. I ran into a snag with some of the functional coding so I moved on to start polishing the appearance. Which was fun and relaxing compared to the frustrations of the trial and error efforts of solving said snag.

When the sun went down, I was hoping to take a break from the assignment altogether. It was late enough in the evening that I thought that the question I sent off to my instructor would go unanswered, it was Saturday night after all. I had tried everything so I thought I would just fire off the question in hopes to having it answered this afternoon.

Nope.

I blame myself. If I would have just walked away from my computer to move to the couch to enjoy a movie or two, I would have never gotten the notification of a suggested solution. I tried to put it off anyway, but that's just not how my head works. When the ball wasn't in my court I was perfectly fine with letting go, but having a potential solution sitting in my inbox was driving me nuts. So I struggled into the early AM, only to find that the suggested solution still did not work.

Finally, the sun started to rise and I could keep my eyes open anymore. So I ventured off to bed. When I awoke this morning I had the answer in my mind. I rushed to the computer and implemented my idea, and guess what?

It worked...

Well, sort of. I was able to solve the main issue with my code but that solution triggered new problem that I will be dealing with today. Once I get this solved, I have two other glitches to work through and then I'm done.

I can't wait to move on.

I'll let you know how things turn out tomorrow.

Talk to you then,

The Wicker Breaker
