Ugh, today is one of those weird days where I woke up with a stomach that felt like it was coming out of a bender when I haven't had a drop to drink since election night. I actually had to throw up upon waking which is something that hasn't happened without being alcohol induced for years. Unlike with drinking, however, I feel perfectly fine now that whatever is out of my system.

Up until I spewed I was worried that this would be a day of struggling to focus. Though I've been pretty productive the past couple days, I'm still ramping up to my regular pace since losing focus during the past couple weeks of the election. That's not to say that the election was to blame fully for my fall of inspiration but I definitely know from the debates on, my mind was distracted by the news of the day.

As the days go by I grow less and less interested in the internet's input on my anxieties. Since things aren't as up in the air as they were when the selection was still to be made, I don't feel as pulled into articles and arguments that helped me build my own opinion about what I wanted to do and why. I no longer feel the urge to add my input on a pointless argument considering where I live. California was never going to vote anyone other than Clinton so my third party efforts were pointless from the start but my vote was never about winning.

Oh well, again it's over and I'm now focused on normalizing my life again. I would say that I'm halfway there. I finally started to get a full night's sleep again, but since I'm getting caught up, I find that I've been sleeping in too long, waking after noon until to not start work until one or two, finishing my obligations much later than I really like to. This late start leads to less time to focus on school which I am very excited about the current set of classes that I'm learning from.

Today, I woke up just a little later than I would like, but I got to work right away and now I have tons of time for school. I'm hoping to finish this section by the end of the weekend so I can start my next assignment by the start of the week.

We'll see if I can pull it off.

Talk to you tomorrow with updates,

The Wicker Breaker
