/Woohoo!!! I'm officially licensed to buy my meds again!!!
A couple months ago my California green card expired and since the renewal process was out of my price range since starting school, I decided to buy a good sized batch to allow me the time to save up the funds I needed. About two weeks ago my stash ran dry and I instantly fell back to my sleepless ways.
When I first got my medical card, I had to track down a certified acupuncturist to get a referral to then get the card. This referral process was so lame because the acupuncturist just took my money and filled out his referral before I even finished going into why I felt that I needed a card. The whole ordeal cost around 200 bucks which is a lot of money to me these days but much easier than tracking down a drug dealing teen.
Not only was that expensive to me but since I don't have a car it meant traveling by bus. Living in Southern California this isn't the easiest of tasks. I was on the bus so long that it ended up being a two-day venture since I failed to get from the acupuncturist to the card doctor before the establishment closed.
My insomnia was getting so bad that I got back on sleeping pills which is never a good thing for me. At least I wasn't drinking with the pills like I did in the past but I still woke in chemical haze which never felt right. I didn't want to go back down this road so I finally saved up the money and started my search for the information on the doctors I used in the past. That's when I found a bunch of online doctors.
These online doctors are not only able to provide a referral but they also provide the medical cards and the whole thing only cost 40 bucks and takes about five minutes to complete the entire process. My online doctor just as uninterested as the acupuncturist and sent me a digital version of my card even though our online chat session crashed halfway through.
The doctor heard what he needed to hear and I got what I came for so all is well with the world. Not only that, the process was so cheap that I can afford to buy my meds as well. I was thinking this whole time that I would be able to get my card with one paycheck and my meds with the next, but now I'm a happy camper with both and will be spending the rest of the enjoying an after a break buzz which is the best buzz in the world.
Hopefully, tomorrow I'll have some more mind-expanded well-rested things to say.
Talk to you then,
The Wicker Breaker
