/Last night I had a fun experience with lucid dreaming. This doesn't happen often but when I find that I'm actually at the wheel while off in the land of the subconscious I find it so hard to leave no matter how dire the situation.
Earlier this AM, I found myself in an odd situation where the world was coming to an end while I had to navigate my way out of a hotel/apartment type environment. What made this feat difficult was that there were two me's stuck in different parts of the complex and we had to work together to escape.
I was able to switch back and forth between the two forms but I was only aware of what I witnessed while I was in charge. In other words, while I was navigating the first me to find my second self, me two was collecting clues that I was unaware of. Once I would switch I would then have to figure out where I was and what I had gotten into, all the while the first me would continue on his path that I would later have to figure out when I would switch back.
I'd go into more details but I know how uninteresting the dream explanation can end up. I was just sharing the facts above because I now want to make a game based on the continuity conflicts of being in two places at once. Though I've seen plenty of games that allow you to swap who you have control over, the uncontrolled character is usually sent off to limbo to wait for you to switch back.
I'm willing to bet that I'm wrong and that this has been done before, but it's my newest inspiration for an idea to develop.
It's also all I've got for today so I decided to run with it and with that...
I will talk to you tomorrow,
