/Alright!!! It's the fourth and final day of my exploration into the Passport to Flavor run of Lays potato chips. I was looking forward to this day from the get go as I would have bet that I was saving the best for last. Today I am trying the Wavy Greek Tzatziki chips...
I wouldn't say that I was disappointed but more pleasantly surprised to be wrong in my assumption that this would be my favorite flavor. First off, I liked these chips. I'm a huge fan of Tzatziki sauce and I feel they did a pretty good job at capturing the idea of that flavor. My only issue is that I wished that the flavor was a little bit stronger.
This could just be that I have a weak sense of taste, but to me, the flavor was so subtle that this chip felt more like a side and not the star of the show. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. I would buy these chips again in a heartbeat. My only issues is that this flavor didn't live up to my expectation for it to win, hands down but again these chips are still very good.
Now that I've tasted all of the Lays Passport to Flavor chips here if my order of preference:
- Indian Tikka Masala.
- Greek Tzatziki.
- Brazilian Picanha.
- Chinese Szechuan Chicken.
That ended up being sort of fun. I'll have to find more things to review for when I don't feel like writing day in the life posts like I usually do. I doubt that I'll figure anything out by tomorrow, but I'm hoping to have something from my class to share by morning.
We'll see what happens.
Talk to you soon,
