/I'm really loving this new schedule that I've come up with for myself. This morning I woke up around the average time I usually wake up and then made myself a cup of coffee and breakfast to then sit down and enjoy while watching today's episode of Saturday Night Live. It was such a nice way to ease into the day while technically being productive in the process.
After the episode of SNL, I sat down at the computer and where I used to waste time when my butt hit the seat, the early morning procrastination was already out of my system and I went right to work polishing the review for the episode that I wrote last night.
After that, I did my pathetic workout routine that I plan to build upon as soon as I stop getting winded from what little I do at this stage. I just got a Fitbit so hopefully, my obsession with challenges will motivate me to unlock every achievement in the app.
By this point, I was only two hours into my day and was not stuck playing solitaire waiting for motivation to strike. No, this morning I was ready to work around the same time as always only I had already finished the tasks that I would have normally done after posting my Daily Breaker post when I was doing them in the morning.
The rest of my day was open for school and or work so I finally got around to starting the final assignment for my Android app building course. This was awesome because I was beginning to fear that I bit off more than I could chew in starting a new time-consuming challenge before graduating from my class.
I'm currently writing this post that you're reading if you are seeing these words and will go on to write a review for the SNL episode that I watch this morning so that tomorrow I can start the cycle all over again. The only thing I'm not sure about is the part where I switched my Daily Breaker post to be a night time activity.
Though I feel more creative writing at this time of night, I'm not too sure about having back to back writing assignments every single day. I also feel that ending the day with a post like this increases the odds that I could slip up and get myself in a situation where I miss the self-imposed daily deadline that I haven't missed for at least a year.
So, tomorrow, this is going to go back to being a morning post where I say good morning to the world. I could fit this in right after my SNL breakfast before I fit in my fitness for the day. What I might do to resolve the problem of the uninspired mornings is start stockpiling some evergreen content for when I have something to say that requires the lunar energy to activate my mind.
Now I'm too tired to write my review after getting a later start than I expected due to a friend stopping by that I forgot I made plans with, which is another reason I'm second guessing this as an end of the day post. Good thing I got myself ahead of the game over the weekend because it will be very easy to recover from this misstep which would be seemless, if only anyone were following along.
Alright, good night crickets, I'll see you in the morning.
Talk to you then,
The Wicker Breaker
