Dateline 1-2-2017

Last night I started my mission to watch every episode of Saturday Night Live ever made in an attempt to find my favorite sketch. I have to say, I love having this as an end of the day activity. For one, I get to watch an entertaining show every night, but mainly I like it because it draws attention away from these daily posts which I feel will subconsciously allow me to have more fun with what I have to say.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to start the fun today, but I remember back when I was doing 365 Days of Resolution when I felt there was no weight on The Daily Breaker. Since no one was coming to the site for the summary of the day, I was free to joke around or goof off and tell a story and tell a stoner thought from the night before.

Sure I could have and should have posted with that freedom for the past year but there was a part of me that was afraid that I would build expectation. My self-esteem over the last year became so low that all I wanted to do was slip under the radar while sticking to my plan to keep this site active in hopes that I would someday figure it out.

That's not to say that this start of a new experiment means that I am anywhere close to figuring anything out but I do see it as a sign that I am in a much better mood and I can't wait to feel like I'm actually living again rather than just hunkering down to ride out a storm.

Alright, this Seeso Many Saturday Nights is still new and I need to work out my strategy. I need to watch a couple episodes today to build a backlog of reviews to allow me to post a review a day while having a safety net for those days where I just don't have the time to watch and break down an episode.

I can't wait to see what this evolves into and I can't wait to share it with you as it does.

Talk to you tomorrow,

The Wicker Breaker
