Well, my plans of having a productive weekend of writing have gone right out the window once again. As I pointed out in yesterday's post, I think my venturing out to be amongst the masses, for the first time in five years, not only left me with fun memories of an interesting night out with my family but also left me sick as a dog with a cold.

At first, I thought this sickness would actually work to my advantage being that I had a sound excuse to spend my weekend in complete solitude in order to avoid spreading my sickness throughout the house. It's not that I feel that the family I live with interrupts me all that much but I do feel the want/need to hang out from time to time so I was looking forward to this sickness to force me to stick to the matter at hand.

Unfortunately, this cold has grown to be stronger and stronger since I felt my first sniffle on Thursday night and is now to the point where I'm so miserable that all I want to do is drink my cold meds and say in bed which I think will be the plan for today.

Of course, I still have my SNL review to do but as soon as I finish, I definitely plan on tapping out. Who knows, maybe later in the evening, after I wake up, I'll have the energy and focus to get back to rewriting my novel but I will not beat myself up if I don't manage to get anything done because I owe myself time to heal.

Oh well, we'll see what happens and as always, I'll check in tomorrow with what does.

Talk to you then,

The Wicker Breaker
