This week marks the time of year when I start to get bummed out because I can no longer wear hoodies without feeling like I am melting. For one, I just prefer the way that I look when wearing a hoodie with a pair of shorts but I also like that, unlike tee-shirts, I can wear a hoodie multiple days without having to wash it. That's an awesome feature when you only have a handful of outfits to choose from.

With that said, this week also marks the time of year where the pool is tolerable enough to jump in without freezing your nuts off. Now, when I wake up in the morning feeling run down and barely functional, I can dive in for a lap and let the water invigorate my mind while cooling off my body after a sweaty night's sleep in a room with poor air circulation.

Yesterday was super nice because I brought the dog into the pool with me after we both took a pretty long walk. She's an old dog, who gets so burnt out from these walks that it seems to take her a couple days to recover. She's getting better now that I take her out multiple times a week so I'm hoping the soak in the pool will help to ease the pain in her joints and muscles.

Today's a break day for her but I still need to fit in the Fitbit steps by this evening. Other than that, I'm all caught up for the day so once again, I'm going to try to take it easy but will probably ignore this goal as I continue to build my backlog of Saturday Night Live reviews. Again, I'm aware it's not the most brutal of tasks but right now, it's the only thing that's keeping me from going crazy.

As always, I'll check in to share how things turn out tomorrow.

Talk to you then,

The Wicker Breaker
