Yesterday ended up being a pretty successful day. Not only is my place clean enough to relieve the subliminal stressors that are caused by clutter but I also managed to set up the layout for my next three SNL reviews and it only took me about half an hour.

This is pretty exciting to me not only because of how having the layout setup already will allow me to jump right into my viewing of the show without having to get bogged down in the prework that usually leads to an unnecessary break to give myself a little bit of a distance from the slight spoiler I experience while populating my Wicker Breakdown list with the titles of each sketch that I get from a reference website.

Having these layouts set up days in advance almost eliminates the spoiler aspect, as I now have so many comedy sketches running through my head it's almost impossible to anticipate what's coming next in any given episode. Well, I do still have the list of sketch titles but minus the descriptions, said titles aren't always that telling.

The thing that I'm more excited about is how I now have something brainless I can work on when I feel like being productive that doesn't involve that much of my creative energy. There are many times when I have the energy but not the heart to work on anything worth sharing. This is when I either look for side jobs if I'm not working or waste away time playing simple online games that inevitable deter my thoughts for the rest of the day.

Now, I have thirty-five more years' worth of show reviews to layout that I can see my obsessive mind knocking out in a few months as it becomes another challenge. Even if this doesn't end up being the case, I now have an exercise in efficiency that I can opt for if I have any extra time.

Alright, it's the weekend following two weeks of blah that I plan to work extra hard to get out of starting Monday so I want to take the next couple days to get a little more rest so that I don't start this effort while I'm already burnt out because I'm still feeling a little drained.

We'll see what happens and as always, I'll check in tomorrow with what does.

Talk to you then,

The Wicker Breaker
