Dateline 6-24-2017

Well, yesterday ended up a pretty smooth sailing day where I just did my work and slept early to make up for the sleep deficit from the night before. There was nothing eventful at all but in a much-needed way where I did where I needed to do and just zoned out for the rest of the day mindlessly being entertained by television. 

So with that, I decided today would be a good day for a GARDEN UPDATE!!!

I'm not as proud as my earlier posts where everything looked so young and healthy, but it is continuing to make progress. I think I've made a lot of rookie mistakes with this year's crop, mainly planting too many seeds too close together making the over populated planter kind of like a microcosm of the real world.

The other problem is, other than seeding and watering, I don't really know what I'm doing. The plants in the front are different types of lettuce and I have zero idea as to when they are done and ready to pick.  

Right now I have a lot of tomatoes growing, the bell peppers that seem to be doing okay and a bunch of root vegetables that I have no idea what is going on with. I need to go through and pick out all of the things that have died, gone bad or have been eaten by bugs but then the fear is that I might mess other things up in the process.

Whatever the case, at some point this week, I definitely need to go in for some maintenance. Once that does happen, I'll be sure to check in with an update but until then I'll talk to you tomorrow.
