It turns out that taking yesterday off may have been a bad idea. For one, the only things that I was taking a break from in the first place were my own personal projects that I actually enjoy doing, so instead of killing time while making progress, yesterday ended up being a complete waste of time. This leads to my second problem where I now feel a tad bit out of practice leading to a slower ramp up to the start of my day rather than already feeling warmed up from the day before.

Then again, I do actually feel more refreshed than usual and rather than feeling a "Here we go again," energy that can pop-up from time to time and lead to a slower ramp up to the day as well. The big difference is, with today's slow start I feel excited about the rest of the days works and not like I'm just blindly meandering through the process.

That's not to say that my average day isn't inspired, I'm just comparing the results following a rested day off with the rare occasion where I'm just not feeling it but force myself to carry on. For the most part, I love an average day where I wake up, prepare whatever I'm considering breakfast for the day and then get down to business finishing all of the stuff that I HAVE to do by some time around noon.

This frees up the rest of my day for behind the scenes work that can range from anything like prep-work for this site to focusing on paid work to finance my minimalist lifestyle, all this while being entertained by a few of my favorite podcasts. If only the paid work aspect of my day was actually connected to one of my personal projects, I'd be very close to living the perfect life, at least as for as a career goes.

Now it's time to stop talking about what I do and actually get to doing it. Hopefully the day will go pretty smooth but either way, I'll check in tomorrow with what ends up happening and it's beginning to look like this upcoming update will have nothing to do with eventless eclipse.

We'll see, talk to you tomorrow either way.

Sincerely,

The Wicker Breaker
