The Daily Breaker Secondary Header Image

I think I'm going to take it easy today, maybe set up the rabbit ears so that I can relax, knit and watch the Super Bowl. I'm not a big sports fan so I don't feel the urge to go to any of the parties and since Seattle is in the big game I'm not sure I want to leave the house because I don't want to have that conversation about preparing for "The Big Game," with  everyone in the check-out line is my food, for me, not for the game, not for the Seahawks. I'd prefer to just live my own regular quirky life without constantly having to pick sides and be excited about things just because they're traditional.

So here's what I'll be doing:

  1. Failed :(

  2. Will continue to practice.

    • I'm going to knit while watching the game. I do like the commercials, plus this gives me a valid excuse as to why I will be taking a break from these other resolution for the day.

      • The Rabbit ears are hooked up to the TV and I found the station that's playing the game.

      • Made quite a bit of progress on my training scarf. I was knitting while watching the Super Bowl and during this weeks viewing of Southland Tales!

  3. Success!!!

  4. I need to wait until I get home to download the software to work on the next assignment.

  5. Success!!!

  6. Waiting for the next quarter to move on.

  7. Bucket should be dropped on Monday.

  8. Slow start.

    • I will start following Fresh Water for Everyone charities on Twitter.

      • I'm now following all of the Fresh Water for Everyone organizations that I added to my tweet announcing this as my cause for the year.

      • I plan to check twitter through out the rest of the day and will retweet anything that I find interesting. Other than that this resolution is now in a passive stage for the rest of the day.

  9. Success!!!

  10. I might have to take a break from this until I get home. It's getting to the climax of the fourth story and fear I am writing for the sake of writing at this point because this is not my actual writing space. I really need to be in a place of comfort for what I am about to write. (btw I'm still dog/house sitting)

  11. Passive, though I got a lot of reaction from the knitting and water charity my number should go up, but Klout seems to update your score at random times. It's not a real time gauge so I'm still mostly confused by the site.

  12. Back burner.

  13. Back burner... I did receive an email from the guy who played Kenny. He might be up for an at home Twitter watch along party?

    • Watch Southland Tales for the 51rst time.

      • I figured I'd include this as a part of this date because this resolution can not be completed if I don't complete the Area 52 Challenge.

  14. Waiting... This thing that I'm knitting may be a gift to someone on the list. I'm also looking for eight more people to play along.

  15. Drinking that water.

    • Drink and add the check mark when done.

      • One bottle down.

      • Done for the day! (Though I usually end up drinking three or four bottles by the time the day is done.

  16. Back burner.

  17. Passive.

  18. Back burner.

  19. No new reviews to report.

  20. Waiting for mail.

  21. Tuesday based resolution.

  22. Back burner.

  23. Back burner until I get home.

  24. Back burner until I get home.

  25. As needed, no plans until I get home.

  26. As inspired.

  27. I will be starting this as soon as I hit publish.

    • Continue The Shroud of the Thwacker upon hitting publish.

      • Done. reading to classical music with two dogs sleeping at your feet is a pretty cool way to start the day.

  28. Back burner until I get home.

  29. You're reading it.

    • Continue to post updates throughout the day.

    • I did a pretty good job at setting up today to be a nice light workload.

      • Final update. Done with everything for the day.

  30. Waiting for response from application. This is also kind of a passive resolution in that I'm hoping every thing that I post on this site is leading to a better chance that I will become my own boss through TheWickerBreaker.

  31. I love these, and I've been getting some likes so that's encouraging. Still top writer of the week.

    • Write at least one story before the end of the day.

      • Just wrote a quick story and posted it to TheWickerBreaker's Facebook page and on Twitter.

  32. I don't think I'm going to leave the house in fear of sports fans today.

  33. I will be listening to classical music as I read so I will be appreciating it, though it probably won't get me any closer to learning titles or composers.

    • I will set aside time to learn one song title and it's composer.

      • I appreciated some classical music as I read The Shroud of the Thwacker with two dogs at my feet. I will learn a song and composer later on tonight as I figure out whether or not I'm in the right head space to work on the novel.

And that's my day. Stay tuned for updates.
